Our next tour

Go Beyond The Guidebook

We travel to countries already on everyone’s radar, often for one headline reason. We go further. You’ll see the must-see sights, then venture beyond them to the neighborhoods, makers and traditions that are about to have their moment.

Each journey comes with an artist in residence who opens doors most travelers never walk through. Who is it? We announce each artist during our cohort calls 30 days before takeoff. Consider it the last gift before your adventure begins.

Day Five: On to Our Next City
  • Soak up a final morning in Seoul with an optional guided stroll through a historic hanok neighborhood, its tiled rooftops and quiet lanes perfect for last photos. Or, sleep in before our next destination.
  • Midday, we travel together to our next destination, whether a scenic high-speed train ride to Busan or a short flight to Jeju Island.
  • After checking in, we roll up our sleeves for a hands-on kimchi-making class with a local family. You'll learn the time-honored tradition of kimjang.
  • Spend the evening how you'd like with dinner on your own terms.
Day Seven: Restore & Recharge
  • Yesterday we traveled; today we breathe. Settle into a long, lazy brunch with the ocean at your feet, then join our artist in residence for a private tour of their newest exhibit.
  • Capitalize on your final day by spending the afternoon on your own terms. Your host will share curated recommendations, from hidden cafés to local galleries to shops worth the detour, but you're always welcome to wander beyond the list and make the day your own! We convene at the end of the day with our final cohort dinner.
Day Six: Oceanside Wonders
  • Rise early for a guided tour of Seongsan Ilchulbong, the dramatic volcanic crater and UNESCO World Natural Heritage site that rises straight from the sea. Nearby, we meet Jeju's legendary haenyeo, the female free divers who have harvested the ocean floor for generations without oxygen tanks. Hear their stories firsthand and discover why their way of life is recognized by UNESCO as part of humanity's cultural heritage.
  • After lunch, we wind through the rolling green rows of a Jeju tea farm, tasting fresh-brewed leaves and learning how the island's volcanic soil shapes every cup.
  • As evening falls, we gather for a traditional performance, where drumming, song and dance bring centuries of Korean storytelling to life.
  • We welcome our second artist-in-residence over a farm-to-table dinner meal, chatting about the events so far, their work in the region, and the day ahead.
Day Eight: Farewell for Now
  • It's time to say goodbye as private transfers whisk you to the airport. You arrived as travelers and leave as friends, with stories to tell and art to treasure. Until the next WIIT adventure, annyeonghi gaseyo (go in peace!)

Meet Your Lead Host

Industry insider. Korean speaker. Your connection to Korea’s creative heart.

Lead Host
Imani B.

Imani’s love affair with Korea began on screen and has since taken her across the country more than ten times, from Seoul’s buzzing neighborhoods to Busan’s seaside film scene. After years in the Korean film and entertainment industry, she’s been invited by the Korean government to speak at the Busan International Film Festival and BCWW, and she’s built lasting relationships with the storytellers and artists shaping the culture the world can’t stop talking about. And because she speaks Korean, you’ll never feel lost in translation, whether you’re bargaining at a local market or chatting with an artisan in her studio. With WIIT, she’s created the trip she always wished existed: one that goes beyond the tourist trail, celebrates the arts and brings women together to experience Korea the way it deserves to be seen.
